Post herpetic neuralgia is a painful condition.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health Care Magic.

I am Dr. Dadapeer K an ophthalmologist and I will be answering your question.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are suffering from post herpetic neuralgia following herpes zoster ophthalmicus.
Post herpetic neuralgia is a very painful condition and it requires potent analgesic drugs.

Panodil is paracetamol and it is a mild pain killer and it will not be able to relieve the pain of neuralgia.

I usually treat patients of this problem with potent opioid analgesics like tramadol in acute episode. For chronic pain relief we use topical capsaicin cream and tablets like carbamazepine or amitryptiline.

The condition usually takes long time to respond even with treatment.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination to assess the severity of the condition and treatment accordingly by prescription of appropriate drugs.

Hope this is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for further questions.

Thank you
With regards
