Suggest Treatment For Herpes Zoster
please be more elaborate with your query.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
Herpes zoster occurs due to reactivation of dormant lying chicken pox virus that resides in nerve endings. During period of activation, the virus becomes active travels to skin to manifest itself.
Its manifestation is only limited to skin. Once it resolves, chances of having herpes zoster again is very less.
Even during active phase herpes zoster, you may continue with your essential or regular medicines. So whatever has been prescribed for your heart disease should be continued during and after episode of herpes zoster
I hope I have answered your query. Should there be a clarification needed, please be more elaborate with your query.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
Herpes zoster is not treated with hydrogen peroxide.
Herpes zoster is treated with oral antiviral like acyclovir or valcyclovir or famciclovir.
We also prescribe oral antibiotics to prevent develoment of any superceding infection. If associated with pain, we prescribe anagesics too. Topical antibiotic or calamine lotion should be used to heal and soothe the lesion.
Please tell me about the exact manifestation that you are having now like
Site and extent of lesion.
Since how long are you having it
If the lesions have crusted or have developed pus formation.
Associated features like pain or itching or burning sensation
If possible please upload an image of the affected area as that would help me in further clarification. I would never prescribe hydrogen peroxide for zoster lesions
