Brief Answer:
A careful BP monitoring and possible dose reduction may be necessary.

Detailed Answer:

Hello!

Thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would like to explain as follows:

Cialis (Tadalafil) has significant interaction with Losartan, as it may increases the effects of Losartan, leading to increased risk of hypotension.

Cialis shows significant interaction with Verapamil (as it increases the blood level and effects of Cialis, by affecting its hepatic metabolism). The resulting effect is an increased probability of hypotension.

Cialis also increases the effect of hydrochlorothiazide by pharmacodynamic synergism, leading to the risk of hypotension.

So, it may be dangerous to use concomitantly the above drugs, as the risk of hypotension is highly increased.

I would recommend to discuss with your prescribing doctor for a dose modulation of antihypertensive drugs (a possible dose reduction), when programing Cialis prescription.

Close BP monitoring is always required during concomitant drugs use.

Hope to have been helpful to you!

Feel free to ask me whenever you need! Greetings! Dr. Iliri
