Streptococci is an organism which can cause respiratory infection, skin infection etc.

There is only one test called blood culture. They take your blood around 5ml and culture it to see the growth of organism in that. If you have any open wound, culture of that discharge will be done. If you have cough with sputum then culture of sputum done.

When this organism infect it release streptolysin. When this is released body produce antistreptolysin.
