Question: Hi,
I hit my eye accidentally 2 days ago- at that moment I had a flash bend th eye, but no flashes or floaters since then. Since then, I have had a dull ache in the eye- slightly better today than yesterday, but still present. No vision problems. no redness. No discharge. minimal photophobia. I do have very high myopia. Does this sound like something I should be seen immediately for? I have an eye doc appointment in about 2 weeks. Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Since there are no symptoms now, you can wait for the appointment

Detailed Answer:
In your case your eye should have been examined immediately after the injury. It can be anything from cornea to retina. You have applied the bend first. Any way detail vitreous examination of your eye should be done now. Exclude injury to cornea, iris, lens vitreous, retina. Treatment can be specifically be decided according to part and nature of injury. Since till now there are no symptoms may be no part is involved in injury. In that case follow up can be done. Since you have got an appointment you can have that .
