Could Blurred Vision And Photo Phobia Be Due To Anemia Medication?

Hi.. my mom, aged 46, was found anemic recently. To supplement for her fatigue, nausea etc, she was admitted to hospital and is now taking Wysolone medication. She recently is experiencing vision problems, like blurred vision, photophobia etc. Could this be related to the medication or her anemic condition?

Hi,

The tablet as mentioned by you, Wysolone is a steroid called prednisolone and can cause the symptoms mentioned above. You can review the medication with the doctor who prescribed it and get it changed or stopped unless strictly indicated.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
