Brief Answer:
The Blood Pressure is normal

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

The blood pressure is normal. If the pulse is transiently high then there is no worry if it comes back to normal after a while. If he is taking any blood pressure medications then beta blockers can be added with or instead of another medication, if the heart rate is persistently in the range of 120. An EKG can also be advised to have more concrete information regarding the rate and rhythm of the heart and especially if your father is symptomatic with the raised pulse. By symptoms , I mean if he has chest pain , shortness of breath ,confusion , vertigo/dizziness.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
