After which since i had cough, i spitted cough in which there was blood. after 2 days of this happened, i felt irritation/hoarseness of throat and i spit again, there was some blood in it.

Now that i have stopped drinking, What should i do next ?

Brief Answer:
Please stop drinking and consult your doctor immediately

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Since you report excessive drinking the night before and small amount of blood in cough, it is important to confirm if there is blood in cough or vomit.

While blood in cough is almost always due to causes in the respiratory tract, a little blood in vomit might be due to a small tear in your gastrointestinal tract. This can occur anywhere including the mouth, pharynx (throat), esophagus (food pipe) or stomach.

The over brushing and yoga with pumping respiration do not look significant in view of your symptoms.

As there is irritation and hoarseness in the throat, it is likely that you have got a mucosal tear in the throat.

It is important for you to stop alcohol consumption completely and visit your doctor and get your throat and respiratory tract examined in detail. As you have got two episodes in a couple of days, you should not ignore it. Detailed investigations like upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and imaging might be necessary.

Drink adequate amounts of water and eat a healthy diet. As you had fatty and enlarged liver earlier this year therefore it will be good to get your liver functions repeated as well.

Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek
