Suggest Treatment For Infection Of Glans Penis

Question: I have pain on the underneath of my penis that started about 2 weeks ago. Looks like a ear. Seems to be just as bad now if not worse even after abstaining the last few days and seems there are some other small tears next to it. Also red marks all around the head. Not sure what this is or what to do

Based on the facts and photographs that you have uploaded it seems that you have developed infection of glans penis (Ballanitis) mostly due dry vigorous unprotected sex .

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) Did you have unprotected sex before getting this problem ?
2) Is there any discharge from penis?
3) Do you have any urinary symptoms like frequency ,burning etc ?
4) Are you diabetic?

You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefixime along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily.along with topical antibiotic ointment like Neosporin twice daily.

Ensure to wash your genitals with warm water twice daily.

Ensure to avoid sexual encounters till it heals up completely.

The painful tear on the underside of my penis seems to have healed after taking Cefixime for one week and applying daktacort cream (miconazole nitrate with hydrocortisone). It mostly cleared up but now the "rash" or whatever it is has returned and ive noticed the area under the foreskin is bumpy. Ive attached 2 new pics.

Have been having unprotected sex with gf again. No discharge or burning or urinary symptoms.

What should i do

Can i get by without the Cefixime and instead just use the Daktacort ointment? I already used a week of Cefixime and would have to get another prescription...
