Question: I have a bite on my leg that left three puncture marks in a triangle shape. It itches and is forming a red circle around the area. How should I treat this wound? Thank you.

Brief Answer:
detailed below.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

I read carefully your query and evaluate the picture you sent.

It seems to be just an insect bite and the red circle is part of the normal body reaction to the bite.
It doesn't seem to be of concern.
You can wash the area with plain water and soap.Place a cold compress over this area.
If the itching is significant and you can't tolerate it,you can use a topical antihistaminic cream or a topical cortisone cream (hydrocortisone 1%).

The itchiness and redness will go away in few days.
You have nothing to worry about.

Hope it helps.
Please feel free to ask if you have any question.

Kind regards,
Dr.Rovena Murati
