Brief Answer:
it could be an insect bite reaction or scabies.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting Healthcaremagic!
I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.

The symptoms you have mentioned suggestive of IBR(insect bite reaction), it may not be flies it can be bedbugs.
Bedbug infestation can cause bumps and bite marks all over the body. It can bite any part of the skin that is exposed during sleep. Bedbug bites often confused with mosquito or flea bites and are hard to identify.
Other possibilities are scabies and hives. Scabies lesions are extremely itchy. Hives or urticaria can also produce these kind of marks over the body.
Prickly heat can also produce these kind of lesion especially a person sweats more than usual.
Other skin conditions like pityriasisrosea may cause similar lesions, we have to rule out these condition before commencing the treatment.

As of now you can use soothing lotions like alovera lotion and moisturizing creams. Wash all linen on hot, dry on hot setting. Apply bedbug sprays over your bed especially over the corners. Repair cracks in plaster and glue down loosened wallpaper to eliminate bed bug harborage sites.

Wishing you good health.
Regards.
