Suggest Treatment For Intermittent Ringing In Ears And Chronic Sinusitis

Question: I've experienced ringing in my ears on and off for over a year now.

(HAD a stroke Nov, 2013 - can sinusitis or congested sinuses cause a stroke, because I began experiencing these symptoms shortly afterward?)

I HAD been suffering an almost constant fatigue with a unpleasant sensation behind my right eye. NOW, recently, it has migrated to my right ear. My hearing is "blocked" by something. Congestion? (I just had an X-ray of my sinuses which said I had nothing wrong) SOMETHING'S FUCKED UP with my sinuses, or at least the sinus areas, and on the top right side of my head!

I hold my nose and blow and I hear sounds in my right ear after I "open them up" as it seems to close back up. Is the ringing now beginning to cause me to lose my hearing? Why does this ALSO affect especially my right-eye vision. I now cannot read close up or far off without these g@@damn glasses! (Could LASIK at least give me my sight back for a few more years?)

Sometimes an unpleasantness behind the eyes causes me to feel rotten. It is WORSE for hours after I get up. It only lessens after I get out and ride my bike, but I still feel it there.

WHYYYY would X-rays of my sinuses miss this, when I KNOW AND FEEL SOMETHING UNDENIABLY FUCKED UP in my right ear and in my head and in my sinus reason?'

If I must lose my vision or hearing I would rather kill myself instead.

My doctor put me on Lyrica, but I refuse to put anymore chemicals in my body, ESPECIALLY if one of the side effects is having to become a blob fattie BUTT-uglier individual than I already am I HAD RATHER
D I E!!! And I am TERRIFIED of dying! I am more terrified of losing mental cognitive function or ANY more motor function.

HELP!

Please pray to Jesus also for me.

Oh, and I wonder if the feeling like I wanna pass out (I would feel if it were not for the Librium I twice daily take) I occasionally feel, and the rotten feeling in my head,

Brief Answer:
Chronic sinusitis may be associated with stroke occurrence

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,
I have gone through your query; and for your knowledge

It has been recognized that chronic sinusitis involves the intracranial vessels and may be associated with stroke occurrence.

Ringing in the ear may be due to increased blood pressure, decreased hearing and anxiety. To rule out these diseases and to reach the near diagnosis you may go for pure tone audiometry, impedance audiometry and blood pressure measurements.

X ray of the paranasal sinuses may be unreliable in the diagnosing sinusitis because
1. It provides limited information about the ethmoid sinuses, sphenoid sinuses and osteomeatal complex.
2. It can be difficult to interpret the results for both radiologist and treating doctor.
3. It is less sensitive than sinus CT scan.

For diagnostic accuracy, you require CT scan of paranasal sinuses.

A visit to the local opthalmologist maybe necessary as he can examine your eyes and determine if you are a fit candidate for LASIK. Amazing results are obtained by LASIK, so stay positive.

Thanks
Praying for your good health

I am on both Plavix and Lipitor (I was told y stroke was a "blockage" I think she said fat blockage)

PLEASE!!! I am going to have another stroke, ain't I, or is these meds a safeguard to reduce that horrifying possiblity

Another cat scan? I've had 14 in the past year and a half. Will another give me cancer?

Today, the very unpleasant sensation behind my right eye, visual disturbance "glitch" (I can't put my finger on) in my right eye making it a nuisance. Wearing glasses helps, but only 90% I am still 10% aware of the right eye glitch)

I feel both healthy, and rotten as hell. I worked in the yard (didn't feel like it, but did anyway.) RIDING my bicycle all over, this distressing glitch in my right eye. Bright car headlights ten to "snow blind" my right eye vision.

Is there hope?

Will another cat scan give me cancer?

I took antibiotics for this, faithfully, but were they enough? Could it have not killed the virus. Have I got a virus, or abscess that could kill my brain soon.

I am terrified!

More so of another stroke than of dying. If I DO have another stroke, what is the most easiest way to kill myself (I KNOW you can't answer that, I am askin to show you how much of a hell I am in!) Ironically, half of me feels HEALTHY!

Could stem cells save me?

I am thinking about suicide more and more today. Afraid to die, I got so much to do with m life, but as an invalid or retard?

I wanna rap, but this crap causes me to trip over an occasional word.

Wearing glasses really helps, but. I am still aware of this damn glitch in my right eye, and this goddamn unpleasant feeling behind it! WHAT IS THIS FEELING?

I wonder if Lasik would help my right eye, as its vision is glitchy, while my left eye vision is presbyopia needing glasses to read near or far. EVe with glasses trying to read text with JUST MY RIGHT EYE OPEN is a bitch. I can do it, but am more aware of this @$#$#ing glitch!

Increased blood pressure for ears' ringing? My BP is low now. It had gotten down to 95 / 59. CAN I E V E R be prestroke normal happy pain-free distress-free E V E R again?

My Flonase is not alleviating these symptoms. I am constantly got mucuos in my nose, and my ears have recently become congested. I can "hear" the congestion. Sometimes as a shhort series of clicks when I try to hold my nose and exhale. Other times I hear a icy whoosh/

I AM TERRIFIED OF ANOTHER STROKE THAT WILL debilitate me

Brief Answer:
You are on good treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,
I have gone through your follow up query; and suggest you that you are on good treatment. Continue the Flonase spray.

Yes, these medicines are a safeguard to reduce that horrifying possibility and possibility of the cancer is rare.

No need to worry, consult with psychologist for suicidal ideation.

Thanks. I noticed when I am on my Fluticasone, my ears tend to get congested but my right-eye vision is less a disturbance. Also, the daytime fatigue is gone. It's been 2 days OFF it, and my ears are not congested, but the right-eye visual disturbance is more scare than a nuisance, especially during the day and the fatigue is returning.

Someone suggested my unpleasantness in my head behind my right-eye could be connected to some muscle misfiring at the top of my spine.

Tonight I am feeling that passy-out feeling, the feeling behind my right eye, (slight ear congestion), but I feel IT IS CONNECTED TO THE unpleasant muscle senssation in muscles in the middle and right-side of my neck
doctor
Answered by Dr. Hariom Sharma (15 hours later)
Brief Answer:
In your case not connected with muscle firing

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,
I have gone through your follow up query; it most probably suggest that unpleasantness in your head behind your right eye not connected with muscle firing.

Tonight...

My right-eye vision seems almost normal, but...

Congestion in my right ear all day. I go out riding my bicycle, every timwe a car pASSES by I hear a different, (louder?) ringing in my right eAR.

AM I UNDER THREAT OF LOSING THE HEARING MIN MY RIGHT EAR?

IF I DO, are there cochlear implants to solve this terror?
doctor
Answered by Dr. Hariom Sharma (7 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Cochlear implant is not the solution in your condition

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,
I have gone through your query; and suggest you that better to go for hearing aid instead of cochlear implant.

Indication of cochlear implant is only when profound hearing loss in both ear and no benefit with hearing trial.

If you are under the threat of losing hearing in your right ear then better to go for hearing test to reach the near diagnosis and treatment according to test result.

Thanks
