Question : My mom has an obstruction in her bowel. I believe it is a hernia because she has had two hernia surgeries that she developed after gall bladder surgery years ago. She is in the hospital and they have put a tube down her throat and they are draining the stomach to give her some relief. What should I expect? I'm three hours away and it is Friday. They said they would wait two or three days....why....do they think it might come unblocked?
