Brief Answer:
Take albendazole 400mg once and repeat after 2weeks!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these worms and all the inconveniences this has caused you. It is true that medications at times fail to kill the adult worms and cysts completely. for this reason, we administer the drug with a 2weeks interval so that we can kill any remaining cyst that must have grown into an adult worm. In this way, all the adults and cysts are killed after 2cycles of treatment and the problem evolved once and for all.

Worms are transmitted through poor hygienic practices. I will suggest that you always was your hands before meals and after visiting the restrooms. Also, keep food free from flies as they can also transmit worms.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

Brief Answer:
Albendazole would treat this parasite fully!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

This is a worm and they have not been shown to be resistant to treatment. Treatment with this medication followed by a second dose after 2weeks is enough. If you have further symptoms, I would rather recommend that your doctors evaluate you and say what the exact disease condition is. Holding unto this parasite as the possible cause despite adequate treatment is no longer valid.

The drug used in treating flatworms that contains p and q is praziquantel. If you rather choose to use this medicine, I have no worries. But after using it, you can no longer be suffering from the same disease condition. Let your doctors look for other explanation to your symptoms.

I hope this helps. I wish you well.
