Brief Answer:
may be PCOS
Detailed Answer:
Dear member,
Thanks for writing.
Irregular cycles are usually associated with enlarged ovaries and small cyst in ovaries called poly cystic ovarian syndrome or PCOS.
Usually in these patients ovaries are enlarged and associated with hormonal problems. The hormonal analysis and treatment along with weight management if obese will correct this problem.
Please give details about final diagnosis infused ultrasound report so that I can help. Also details regarding menstrual cycles and weight of patient.
Thanks

Brief Answer:
blood tests need to be done.
Detailed Answer:
Dear xxxxxx,
Thanks for writing.
The ultrasound reports are fine but do not mention ovarian volume and stromal characteristics in detail. Whether it is PCOS depends on the ovarian volume and also presence of multiple cysts in the ovary. the scan report does not mention anything specific.
It would be ideal to repeat the scan again preferably at a specialist centre. also the following investigations need to be done on second day of menstrual period.
1. FSH, LH,PROLACTIN
2. T3,T4,TSH
3. FBS
4. serum TESTOSTERONE.
please write back with reports.
Also your weight for your height is more than the ideal weight. your BMI is more than 28. ideally you should lose at least 10% of your present weight i.e 6-7 k.g
by a healthy diet and moderate exercise if you can manage to lose weight over a period of 5-6 months this problem of irregular cycles will be easily solved.
Thanks,
