Suggest Treatment For Itchy And Bad Odour From The Groin Area
Question: Hello Doctor, I am 39 Yrs of divorcee. I have no Diabetes or BP. Whenever i discharge, Fishy smell is on the organ and if i leave it unwashed over the night, i get itching on the inner thighs or adjacent to Groin. If i apply Candid-b cream on the itching areas , it gradually subsidies. I am not in relationship/not active in sexual for the past 1.5 years. Could you please guide me on what blood/urine tests i need to undergo to identify the cause and prescribe medications. Also i was under depression since Jan'2014 and taken-up treatment from NIMHANs and since October'2014 month , i am completely cured from Depression. During the medication, i was been prescribed Nexito 10Mg, due to which , i have completely lost the sexual desire and lost sustainable Penile erection. Kindly advise me, if i can take Himalayan Tentex Forte or any other medication to regain the sexual desire. Thanks for your support.

According to the description given it appears to be due to fungal infection.
I would have advised, clean penile area with warm water twice daily and apply candid cream.Oral flucanazole 150 mg weekly once can be taken.
Antihistamine like cetrizine can be taken if itching.
You can use antifungal powder like candid to prevent recurrence.wear loose cotton inner wear.
See there is adequate ventilation.
Consult your psychiatrist for Changing the drug nexito as it can decrease sexual desire.This can help your problem. You may not require any other drug.Do regular exercises , yoga , meditation etc .
I cannot comment on ayurveda products.

Maintain moisture free area.
Use candid powders after bath.There is no need for investigation now.Wear loose clothes.
You follow advuces like exercises, yoga , meditation etc.As you have stopped the drug wait for some time .You will get back to normal.
There is no need for medication if you have relaxed mind and drug also being withdrawn.
