Brief Answer:
Phosay jaw, Osteonecrosis of jaw caused by biphosphonate.

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that jaw pain and difficulty in chewing can be due to Osteonecrosis of jaw bone and can be due to biphosphonate present in Fosamax...

You need to first of all consult an Oral Surgeon and get evaluated and an x ray of the jaw has to be taken to look for the exact condition of the jawbone..

An appropriate treatment will be advised accordingly..

You can be advised Oral and intravenous antibiotics, antiseptic Oral rinses, cool compresses and along with it if there is necrotic bony tissues present, removal of the same has to be done..

As of now take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen and take soft diet..

Further queries are welcome..

Hope this helps..

Regards.
