Brief Answer:
Best to talk with a kidney cancer specialiist.

Detailed Answer:
I am sorry that you are dealing with kidney cancer.

My brother had kidney cancer and although he lived in the XXXXXXX area, his oncologist did not know the latest treatments. For that it is best to go to a kidney cancer specialist. There are a few scattered around the country. Even though I am a physician, I (and my brother's oncologist) did not know where they were located until I talked with someone from the Kidney Cancer Association. The people at the Kidney Cancer Association were extremely helpful in providing information about where to find a kidney cancer oncologist. They can also provide you with information about typical protocols for treatment.

I would suggest your starting place would be to contact them. Here is a link: http://www.kidneycancer.org/about-us/contact-us/?s=location%20of%20oncologists

At the top of their website page is a phone number you can call. 1-800-850-9132.

I would suggest you not wait but contact them as soon as possible.
