Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.
Thank you for writing to us.
I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. I would like to first ask the following questions:
+Does the region is speaking feeling like a sac filled with fluid?
+Is it soft and feels mobile?
+Was there a blow to the knee that you can recall off?
+Do you have a history from work (occupationally), or at home, or in the garden, etc; of getting on your knees often?
+Is the affected knee warmer than the other knee?
I look forward to hearing from you in order to help you further. Please do address all my queries for better understanding, thank you sir :)
Best wishes.

Brief Answer:
Bursitis of knee; treatment options listed for your reference sir :)
Detailed Answer:
Hello once again sir.
Thank you for your co-operation, you have been of great help, especially as I cannot examine the region myself. :)
It appears as though you could have developed bursitis of the knee due to repetitive stress injury from resting on your knee occasionally (which you will have to avoid from here on).
Usually treatment is as follows:
+Physiotherapy: Goes about special exercises to help strengthen your knee joint and also helps with increased flexibility and to allow reduction of recurrences of the condition
+Antibiotic coverage: May be required is signs of an infection develop, can be checked using a blood panel
+Corticosteroid injections: If the bursa seems persistent and does not respond well to therapy
+Aspiration: If the bursa does not seem to be regressing with the above listed treatment options
Either way, you will have to visit a doctor sir, so please do schedule an appointment with your doctor for further management. I hope you find my response helpful and informative. Please do not hesitate to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.
Best wishes.
