Suggest Treatment For Knee Ligament Injury
Question: Dear Doctor,
Good Afternoon
Recently my sister has face a problem of Knee Ligament Injury due to a fall. Basis on which have shown two consultants and have got two different opinion, one says to get the same operated while the other is suggesting for a bed of one Month and the Said injury would heal and no need of surgery.
I would request you to kindly provide me a feedback of what should be the further course of action for a better recovery as i am confused between the two opinion i have received, my sis is 34 yrs old, married with 1 Child in normal delivery. With no other medical history.

Your sister had grade 3 ACL tear with lateral collateral lig and meniscus tear.Grade 3 ligament is very difficult to heal conservatively .So it is best to go with arthroscopic surgery ,it has good result ,lesser bed rest and good function after operation.
