Question: Hi, This is in referrence with the knee pain i discussed with you before. I would like to mention that the dynamic streches i do before and after running mostly involves hamstrings, calf musles, knee squats ,shin muscles warmup. Also i have observed that if i run on treadmill only, knee problem is not that prominent.I am not sure if hard surface is the only problem. The pain is not that much that i need any pain killers or its not swollen .Should i try running with knee support avaialble in various sports shop?

Brief Answer:
Yes. You can try those.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
The lesser problem on running on treadmill could be related to a harder surface on the roads. You can use the various elastic knee supports available at sports shops. These are likely to provide the necessary support to you knee while running. Adding joint lubricant supplements like chondroitin sulfate will also help.
Hope my answer is helpful.
Regards.
