Hi,

I did read about your knee calcifications and discomfort, and this is a good sign of early arthritic changes occurring in the joint. In your case if you are an avid jogger, overuse if the knee is likely contributing to this. No this is a little tricky, so I DO NOT encourage you to stop jogging that is not the best approach and we always encourage continual use of the arthritic joint.

Using a NEOPRENE knee brace will help and even using VOLTAREN GEL or NAPROSYN will help. There are injections into the knee joint called SYNVISC that are also useful but do not stop jogging, that is still beneficial. Also, make sure you have good athletic shoes as well. Ice after jogging is somewhat useful too, if you notice a lot of swelling.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
