im a 15 year old girl that weighs 183 pounds. I have been to the regular pediatrician and whenever i tell them i have knee pain they say its growing pain. I know its not. My knees and hips hurt almost at all times. I walk extremely slow because i almost always have a limp. could it be arthritis??? HELLLP ME PLEASEE
The symptoms can be related to arthritis. I suggest to check the rheumatoid factor level for further evaluation. Meanwhile, I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the symptoms. I also suggest using cold compresses for local application.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
