Suggest Treatment For Lacunar Infarcts
Question: a month back I got lacunar infarct ( CVA Ischemic)..a mild stroke. Is there any ayurvedic treatment , I am a diabetic and hypertensive. Age also 59 yrs male.In Ayurveda or in Naturopathy what are good for reducing the lacunar infarcts.

Well looking into your problem I would like to tell you that you in my opinion you should follow a right treatment under supervised hands because you have multiple risk factors . Lacunar infarcts are common in patients who are hypertensive .
I will advise you to get your lipid profile done , Start on a statin after consulting your doctor , have a strict sugar control.
You are advised to follow DASH diet along with regular exercise , lose weight in case you are obese. Lacunar infarct cannot be reduced now but can be prevented further . Be compliant with all the medicines your doctor has prescribed because that is the key to control the risk factors .

Thanks Doctorjee for your Advice. But what are good in regiment as per Ayurvedam. My lipid pofile is under control, except triglysorides a bit high.

Since I practise allopathy am best at giving that advise only .But still yoga is the best option for decreasing the risk factors for stroke and I will advise to religiously practise that.
