Brief Answer:
Does not necessarily mean STROKE

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome and thank you for posting the question.

Pain in neck ,especially on left side may be caused by a variety of reasons. These include muscular, nerve related causes, slipped discs, fibromyositis etc.

Raised hypertension,if uncontrolled can also cause referred pain in this region. Though these symptoms are not directly related to stroke, still the possibility of stroke cannot be entirely ruled out unless a MRI of the brain and Angiogram is done.

If you are too anxious about it,i would suggest you to consult your physician and discuss the issue with him.
If necessary, get the required investigations done.

The blood pressure should come back to normal immediately . If required ,change the anti hypertensives that you have been taking after consulting your physician.

As long as the blood pressure is raised, the chances of stroke will be high.

I hope the answer was helpful.

Let me know the reports of the investigations once they are ready.

Regards...
