lumbar spondylosis is degenerate arthritis of the spine. there is no cure for this condition. specific aspects of this condition can be treated surgically such as intervertebral disc herniation or spinal stenosis (narrowing) causing nerve root compression.
most of the time supportive / non operative measures only are all that can be done including analgesic medication and physiotherapy.
it is normal to have a lordosis of the lumbar spine, this simply describes the normal contour or shape of this part of the spinal column.
