Thanks but I wanted to make sure you know there is nothing externally visible, no redness or swelling. The knot is internal and right on the bone, also not hairy at all. Any other possibility?
Brief Answer:
Another possibility is a Sebaceous cyst.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Pilonidal sinus/Cyst present subcutaneously. Hair will not be seen outside.Once the swelling is removed and if it is opened, hairs will be seen inside.
Another possibility is Lipoma or Sebaceous cyst . They have to be removed surgically.
Nothing to worry.
Consult your Surgeon, get examined clinically and proceed accordingly.
