Suggest Treatment For Migraine Headaches And Heaviness On Head

Question: Hello , i am 20 year old . My height is 5.1or2 and weight 50.9 kg . My Doctor says i have migraine and for that i was put under a medication for 6 months . Now it's been 2-3 months that i have taken a gap from my course . But what i wanted to know is that, i really haven't been able to distinguish a migraine pain from a normal headache till now . As everyday i feel some kind of heaviness after i return from my college and would contiue to feel so for some time if i don't rest . But i feel fresh when i get up after a nap . well i am confused if this is okay or has anything to do with migranal pain ?
Thankyou :)
Thankyou :)

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your query.
I think I would be able to help you.
Migraine is a headache that last at least 4-6 hours.
The pain is relieved by rest and sleep.
It's associated with nausea and/or vomitting.
Pain is usually unilateral.
Pain is usually throbbing or pulsating.
Photophobia and phonophobia are constantly associated.
If you have these features, it's a migraine.
It is not necessary to have all features simultaneously.
I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information helps you. Please feel free to contact us for more information. Best of luck. Dr Mittal.
