Question: during the last weeks I have from time to time headaches and pressure on my both eyes. once it was so bad that I even went to hospital were I was treated during some hours with Enanthyum intravenously. I was doing fine for some two or three weeks and now I have again a terrible headache for 4 days now. this time also my left eye hurts a lot. I tried with Frovatriptan with very little improve. could this be muscle related or simple migraines? out company doctor asked for a CAT scan and nothing strange was found. thank you for your recommendation

Brief Answer:
Most likely a migraine attack.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms. The description sounds more like a migraine attack. Muscle tension headache generally affects occipital (back of head) region, and occurs more in evenings.

Normal CAT scan of brain is a good news.

You may take rizatriptan or zolmitriptan for relief of headache.

Since you are getting recurrent headaches, you should also consider starting a preventive medication to reduce the frequency of headaches.

Best wishes,
