Hello,
You are suffering from headache and pulsating nerves in the neck. Recurrent or worsening headaches can be caused by
high blood pressure. You are suggested to get clinically examined for high blood pressure. When a person experiences hypertensive crisis, she or he will develop symptoms of headache. It may lead to medical crises. Sometimes, it may be indicative of an abnormal heart rhythm, get CBC,
urinalysis, and all cardiac function tests done.
High diastolic blood pressure leads to headache and also cardiac problems in the long run. You may be asked to get CT or MRI done, for further study so that you stay on the safer side. You will be treated accordingly. If you notice the pulsation while lying down, this can be an emergency, get clinically assessed and treated at the earliest.
Other common reason for headaches are
caffeine withdrawal,
dehydration, strong smell of oil, fumes or paints, hunger,
allergic reaction to certain food, etc. Taking alcohol, recreational drugs or addictions if any can also cause such symptoms. Avoid stress, anxiety as they trigger
tension headache. For relief you can take Naproxen sodium (Aleve), or
acetaminophen (Tylenol). Avoid doing heavy exercises, get examined & treated first.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
