Suggest Treatment For Migraine
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Migraine attacks
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
I am sorry for the symptoms you are suffering
I carefully read your explanation and in my opinion your neurologist has made the right diagnose
It seems you are suffering from migraine attacks
Unfortunately at your age migraine attacks are more often and they became less in frequency with aging
The treatment has two lines,
First dominating the attack, which can be made with triptan family such as zomig
It is effective if it is been taken during first hour of attack
The second line is treatment which lower the frequency of attack (it can be made with propranolol, effective dose is 60 mg but under doctor obervance because it has effects on cardiac frequency or amitriptyline)
In my opinion i don't reccomend to my patient intravenous treatment
You can use it when your migraine attacks aren't dominated from oral treatment
Migraine attacks can cause tension of neck muscles so you dont have to worry about that
I know you are upset but you should know that migraine is bothering but not risky
It will go away with aging
Hope I have answered all your questions
Don't hesitate to contact me for further information or questions
Stay healthy
Best regards

Detailed Answer:
Dear
if ophthalmologist is sure that you aren't suffering from glaucoma (high eye pressure) than you should wait from treatment to make effect
Avoid sunlight or lightning places
Tensive headache has other clinical symptoms ( frontal headache which isn't strong but persistent till 24 hours and can provoke nausea or vomiting)
I read your previous report and your brain CT scan is normal so you have ruled out sinusitis. Anyway sinusitis has other clinical features
In my opinion I don't think massage with help you
Avoid caffein, chocolates or energy drinks
Hope I had clarified all your doubts
Dint hesitate to contact me for further questions
Regards
