Suggest Treatment For Mouth Ulcers And Heaviness In Stomach
Question: Hi,
I have frequent problems of mouth ulcers and heaviness in stomach after food. Long ago, our family doctor suggested Becosule for 10 days and it had given good results.
Now I am taking Becosule regularly for last one month (two capsules a day) and feeling better. Is it OK to continue the same for a long time - a year or more? Is there any side effect if consumed for a long time?

Becosules contains just B complex vitamins , taking it for long time doesn't cause any problems as excess of B complex vitamins will be thrown out of body in the urine.
But the cause for your heaviness in stomach has to be evlauated. For that I advise you to get Fasting and postprandial Blood sugars, Serum TSH , LFT , Serum Potassium tests done and revert back to me .

Thanks sir. I Had recently undergone health checkup sponsored by the employer. Blood sugar and other reports incl. sonography were normal. Do you recommend additional tests?

If not done previously get a Liver function test , Serum TSH , Serum Potassium tests done . If these have been done and they are normal then nothing extra needs to be done .
But if you heaviness in stomach persists for long time then I advise you to get Upper gastrointestinal Endoscopy scan done and revert back .
Also eat more of vegetables and fruits , avoid non veg food and drink more of water.
