i am having cough from last 7-8 days and its not dry cough. from today morning, my nose is also start running. Feeling very week. I have also consulted a Doctor and he gave Novaclox LB capsules, Becasule capsules and Levosetride 5 Tablets. But its not helping me. Please help me out as i m feeling very sick. My age is 27 years.
It seems that you are having viral or atypical infection of lungs; it is possible to get secondary bacterial infection that can cause productive cough.
Otherwise viral infection is self limiting disease usually takes 7 to 10 days to recover, symptomatic relief may be obtained by taking paracetamol and cough mixture, antihistamine and decongestant medicine often provide symptomatic relief.
Taking steam inhalation can help to relieve congestion of chest, please continue treatment as suggested by your physician and hope you will improve in few days.
Keep yourself well hydrated and take rest.
Take care. Good Luck Dr.Akhilesh Dubey M.D.
