Brief Answer:
Electrolyte loss or vitamin B12 deficiency can be possible.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for asking HCM.

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to electrolyte loss or due to vitamin B12 deficiency. Taking milk and vitamin B12 supplements will be helpful in such case. Vitamin b12 and D level should be checked also.

Do you have any back pain issues or problem with lower back spine?
Is it the first episode?
Did you had any unusual physical exertion on previous day?
Do you sweat excessively before getting this episode?

Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
In such case it can be due b12 or vitamin D.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome again.

Thank you for your follow up query.

You can go with 2400 of b12 and 5000 vitamin D. For controlling the symptoms muscle relaxants and NSAIDs will be helpful. I would suggest taking NSAID like ibuprofen and muscle relaxant like tizanidine. Tizanidine 4mg can be taken thrice daily if there is more spasm.

If the condition persist with out improvement then a neurological examination should be carried out by consulting a neurologist.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
