You have nasal allergy. Both the line of treatment is correct.
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,
Thanks for posting your query on HCM.
From your description it is clear that you have nasal allergy. The slight deviation of nasal septum should not cause any problem. Both your doctors are prescribing you the same medicine with very little difference. There are no oral steroids. Only the nasal sprays have steroids which have very little steroids in them and hardly cause any side effects. Let me tell you , treatment of allergy is with steroids only that's why we use sprays and inhalers as they contain extremely small amount of steroids.
So go ahead and follow any of your doctor. Only vibact is a homeopathic or ayurvedic preparation and I normally do not use them in my practice. So I leave it to you to decide.
Take care.
You may follow any of your doctor's advice
Detailed Answer:
As i said you can follow any doctor as both have prescribed the same line of treatment which is correct.
Regarding food in allopathy system of medicine there is nothing like foods causing excess of mucus. If you notice that your symptoms increase after taking certain food items you may avoid them. You can continue with your coffee as hot beverages are good.
Breathing difficulty may be because of asthma which is also mostly due to allergy. Odimont or mondeslor may help in breathing also. You may also try certain inhalers like foracort or seroflo 2 puffs twice a day.
