Question: I went to hospital for food poisoning and they gave me zofran which helped the nausea but now I have abdominal cramps and stiffness in my muscles and mild blurred vision which I read are part of the side effects of the zofran. What will help my cramps?

Brief Answer:
Acute infection.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome To HCM
I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
It seems you are suffering from Acute Gastro enteric infection that might be causing you the abdominal cramps.
I advice following to my patients in such case:
1. A combination antibiotic containing Ofloxacin and Ornidazole.
2. A good probiotic containing lactobacillus
3. A combination of Pantoprazole and Domperidone.
4. Tab Drotaverine can be taken for stomach cramps.
My patients respond very well to this treatment with in 3 days.
See your doctor and share my opinion with him.
If you have any further query, please ask me.
