Suggest Treatment For Nausea, Back Pain And Fatigue

if recent onset, infection is the most likely cause
Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic
If the symptoms are acute/recent/short termed then the most likely cause is infection (viral or bacterial are most common).
IN that case the symptoms tend to last 1 week to 10 days. Treatment would consist of : (1) holding off solid food till there is a 4 hour window with no symptoms.
When this 4 hour window passes, she can start a small amount of dry food- toast, biscuits. Banana can also be used
Dairy products should definitely be avoided.
If these dry foods are tolerated then the type and amount of food can be changed.
(2) dramamine , peptobismol may help. Dramamine would help mainly with nausea and vomiting.
Peptobismol would help with these and may also help the abdominal discomfort somewhat. They can be used together if one alone is not enough.
(3)paracetamol would help with the abdominal pain and back pain
(4)fluids and electrolytes to replace the fluids that she may be losing if she is vomiting.
She only take sips initially because if she uses too much at a time, it would make her vomit.
For the first hour, use 1 tsp to 1 tbs of fluid every 5 mins, if this is tolerated then the amount can be increased
Use oral hydration drinks or sport drinks because these would give back both fluids and electrolytes.
If these symptoms have been going on for a long period of time then she would need tests to see if there is any underlying cause eg complete blood count, liver and kidney function tests, may also be side effect of medication,
There are a number of different causes for persistent nausea.
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
