Hello Dr. XXXXXXX
Thank you for your response. Below are my responses to your questions:
How much old you are?
I am 29 years old.
Cause of neurogenic bladder?
When I was about 1 year old, there was a growth/lump on my spine which had to be operated and during the process of surgery, some of the nerves were damaged.
Are you taking any medication?
No.
Are you suffering from any fisease
I am not suffering from any disease.
Portable catheter means you want to ask about foleys catheter or suprapubic insertion?
I am not aware of the types of catheters. I came across a catheter called condom catheter which is portable and comes with a drain bag and thought it would be helpful. I would also like to mention that I cannot insert a catheter through the urethra due to some blockage.
Thank you!

Brief Answer:
Suprapubic cathetarisation is a better option
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Sorry for the very long delay in my response.
I have gone through your history and feel sorry about it.
Yes you can use condom catheter for your problem but frequent change is required and chances of infection are more.
As urethra is block in your case,so foleys catheter is not useful in your case.
In my opinion you can consult your treating physician and suprapubic catheterisation is a better option.
These all catheter insertion may cause urinary tract infection.
So treatment depends upon severity of your problem.
Intermittent catheterisation and adequate intake of water along with self voiding is also helpful in your case.
Hope found useful, feel free to ask more questions.
Good luck.
