Brief Answer:
several possibilities
Detailed Answer:
I am assuming you want some possibilities for a sore and inflammation in the mouth and throat.
First, I cannot diagnose, advise or treat without directly observing, but some general information. Snuff does increase the risk of oral cancer. Sores would be the most common first sign. Also discolored patches. These are not very specific for cancer. Irritation, pre-cancerous growths, apthous ulcers, bad teeth or dentures are some of the many other possibilities. All of them, including cancer are VERY treatable and this is a good indication to get an exam.
