Suggest Treatment For Orange Colored Urine And The Urge To Urinate

Question: Yes, please. I have a UTI. Caught it in time, received antibiotics. Later after visit, I didn't understand why pyridium was not given as RX. As a 61 year old female I have had previous UTI. I remeber that made those feelings of urgency, settle down and was relieved by that. Even though urine tuns orange !! Is it off list or no longer made in USA

I am sorry to hear that you have a UTI and that you are still having the pain an urgency with the UTI. You are wondering if pyridium is no longer used and the answer it is. You may need to ask your doctor for the prescription since it is not essential for treatment of the UTI. They may have just forgot to ask you if you needed it. There are some OTC products than may help so I would recommend you ask your pharmacist to see what products OTC you can use to help with the urgency otherwise contact your medical provider for a prescription of pyridium

You can get a flu shot while on antibiotics. It will not interfere with your immune response to the vaccine
