I have taken otc decongestants/histamines. I don't believe I have a fever. the dripping was coming about a drop every 3 minutes. it has now stopped. I still have severe headache or pain shall I say next to my right eye. The headache has been persistent over the past 15 days or so. I have taken Excedrin migraine (4 pills) they don't work AT ALL....the dripping comes when I hold my head down. just had another drop. been about 20 minutes since the last drop

actually, both sinus are irritated/infected. the left one seems like its hard to breath from but not running as my right. both eyes are starting to hurt.

I can almost get a drip from my right nostril just by holding my head down

Brief Answer:
Suggestive of persistent infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thanks for the information given.

Persisting head ache, dripping especially on holding head down, heaviness around sinus area - all these features are suggestive of an ongoing infection in the sinus. As you had already taken a five days course of azithromycin, the infection is resistant to this antibiotic.
In such instances, after having a detailed examination,we usually go for other antibiotics like amoxicillin + clavulonate, levo floxacin etc, along with decongestants like levocetirezine and phenyl ephrine for 5-7 days.
If the symptoms still fails to resolve, this may need a minor endoscopic procedure (antral wash) to get rid of the infection.
Kindly see an ENT specialist for further management. You may be asked for an x-ray or CT scan of the sinuses.

Meanwhile, avoid cold and dusty atmosphere as far as possible.Avoid direct blow on face from fan or AC vents.Steam inhalation also will help faster recovery.

Hope I have answered your query.
Wishing for a faster cure.
Thank you.
