Question: What causes my arm to hurt and sort of fall asleep from shoulder to hand when I sleep. I don't lay on it

Is there any weakness, neck pain, urinary complains, neck trauma?
You need to get examined by a neurologist.
You need to get imaging of cervical spine either xray or Mri.
Physiotherapy and isometric neck exercises may be helpful.
Pain killers with muscle relaxant like etoricoxib or Aceclofenac with thiocholchicoside or tizanidine can be taken.
Pain modulator drugs like pregabalin or amitryptiline or gabapentin can be added too.
