Suggest Treatment For Pain And Pulled Muscle In Lower Back
It seems to be the lower spine involvement (Lumbosacral area).
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the consultation at my virtual clinic HCM!
I have carefully worked through your case, and can well realize your health worries. Being your physician, I will take care all of your medical concerns today and will put my best efforts to get you out of this situation.
It doesn't look like you are having the muscular spasm. It seems to be due to the backbone (the spine) in the lower lumbar and sacral area.
Probabilities may be spinal vertebral disease ( the bone involvement ) in which sometimes the intervertebral joints are also involved. Curve of the spine is a reason sometimes (kyphosis or kyphoscoliosis).
Major issue that is very common is the backward bulging of the cushion that is in between every two vertebrae in the spine ( named as the intervertebral disc herniation). When it happens, there is pinching of the nerves emerging from the vertebral foramina and supplying the thighs and legs. These nerves also pass by the hip joints and that's why one of the physician went for a suspicion of hip joint. He may also be thinking of the involvement of the hip joint itself as it is also one of the major joints involved in musculoskeletal system disorders.
Final Suggestion:-
Please consult an Orthopedist for proper evaluation and treat the underlying cause after diagnosing.
He will have to go for the complete history taking and thorough physical examination along with some tests. Also you need an MRI of lumbosacral spine to see the clear picture of the cause. Without that it is difficult to go for cure in this case.
Avoid excessive sitting and standing. No strenuous activity. No weight lifting. Any pull up on the back may hurt you a lot more. You may keep taking the painkillers for symptomatic relief but this isn't the treatment. Make an appointment with an Orthopedist.
