Brief Answer:
Precursor to shingles

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

I am sorry to hear that you have hypersensitivity of the skin on the left side of your scalp. This could be a precusor to a shingles out break. Shingles is the chicken pox virus re-emerging along a nerve and causes hypersensitivity followed by a blistering rash in the same area. If you develop this rash you should seek out your primary care doctor for treatment. There are anti viral medications that can help reduce the severity of the outbreak and reduce the risk for long term pain.

I hope I answered your question. Please contact us again if you have any additional questions
