Detailed Answer:
Hi
I have read your message.
I think I can help you.
The fact remains that the shoulder pain and stiffness can be caused by raised sugars.
The sugars really need to be comtrolled.
What are the medicines he is taking?
What are the sugars and HbA1c?
Another thing that needs to be considered in diabetics is that they develop heart related conditions without chest pain. Symptoms like shoulder pain are what is seen.
So this should be ruled out.
You have a good hospital in your vicinity- Hampankatta/Attavar.
So I would suggest that you go there and get a EKG and echocardiography done.
This will help rule out the cardiac issues.
The sugars need to be managed.
I can give you some guidance when you tell me the information requested above.
Best of luck, Dr Mittal
