Brief Answer:
Conventional therapy.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I am Dr Rakesh Sharma answering your query. I can understand your concern.

With all your ailment of kidneys, and heart it may not be advisable to you to go for more analgesics,as they may interfere with present treatment.

If I were your treating doctor I would have advised following ,

Heat lamps are popular, but a hot-water bottle or heating pad (available from most chemists) are just as effective.

An ice pack can also ease pain.

Knee braces are becoming more popular and more evidence to support their use for knee pain.

Hope I have answered your query, if any thing else, you are welcome or you can close the question by rating the answer.
Good wishes.
