Am Receiving Supartz Injections In My Knee. Not Aspirating Fluid Before Injection. Feel Pain In Knee. Suggestions?
I am receiving Supartz injections in my knee and noticed that they are not aspirating fluid before injecting the Supartz - is this acceptable as well? Also during the injection of the Supartz I experienced such excruciating pain/pressure inside my knee that I almost lost it - would this be from inflammation from OA or the added volume from not aspirating initially? The provider seemed concerned, but offered no explanation. Thanks
