Suggest Treatment For Pain In Chest

Question: Hi Doctor,

I am facing pain in chest(left side) mostly after eating from 3 to 4 days.
Can you please suggest some medicine regarding same.

Hi

Thanks for posting your query at HealthcareMagic.

Since you are having chest pain that is left sided, I suggest that you get an ECG done first.

Otherwise it seems to be due to acidity or reflux since it occurs after eating. To avoid this I suggest that you eat smaller meals at a time and not take spicy, heavy meals. Also thicker foods are less likely to reflux. You can try tab aciloc (ranitidine) 150 mg before dinner for 7 days. If it does not help then it is less likely to be related to acidity/reflux.
