Question: Hi. My name is XXXX and I'm a 26 year old male. I woke up this morning with pain in my right shoulder. The pain quickly went away but whenever I try stretching out my arm in front of me the pain comes back. The pain is also there when I lift my arm. Even before I reach shoulder level I start feeling the pain. What can this be?

Brief Answer:
Muscle strain or tendinitis.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,XXXX
Thanks for your query.

I'm Dr. Sudhir Kumar,

After going through your query I concluded that you may be having muscle strain or tendinitis in your right shoulder. Treatment of is rest to joint and don't do movements and activities which causes pain. Icing will be helpful. You can take analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief.Vitamin B and C is helpful in recovery. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.

Hope I have answered your query.
If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.

Wishing you good health.
