Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Back Of The Leg
Question: HELLO Dr. I am suffering from nerve root block L4-L5 left and the Doctor has injected Tricort and xylocaine twice but the pain persist in back of (L) thigh and calf.
Brief Answer:
Takes some time for the nerve relief to take effect
Detailed Answer:
Hi there
Thanks for the query
Since when are you having this nerve root problem.
Did you receive the injection recently?
Usually it takes a couple of weeks for the pain to settle.
Avoid bending forwards, sitting cross legged, lifting weights.
I would also suggest you take tablet Pregabalin 75mg at night for a month. You can discuss about this drug with your treating doctor.
If possible do upload your MRI report of your lumbosacral spine.
I hope I have answered your query.
I will be available to answer your follow up queries.
