Question: HELLO Dr. I am suffering from nerve root block L4-L5 left and the Doctor has injected Tricort and xylocaine twice but the pain persist in back of (L) thigh and calf.

Since when are you having this nerve root problem.

Did you receive the injection recently?

Usually it takes a couple of weeks for the pain to settle.

Avoid bending forwards, sitting cross legged, lifting weights.

I would also suggest you take tablet Pregabalin 75mg at night for a month. You can discuss about this drug with your treating doctor.

If possible do upload your MRI report of your lumbosacral spine.
